I have always loved and admired the extraordinary sculptural beads made by Carol Fonda and Monty Clark. From the day I first lit a torch, I have wanted to make beads in similar style. The focal bead in this necklace, made with Effetre glass from Murano, was my first effort. I manipulated the glass with needle-nosed pliers until it took on a ruffled leaf shape. After it was annealed, I strung it with freshwater pearls, Swarovski crystals, natural iolite beads, Miyuki delicas, Czech firepolish, pressed glass, and 14K YGF beads, wire, and magnetic clasp.  LENGTH: 17.5 inches (excluding pendant and dangle).
